OCTOBER Challenge #27 The Gruffalo

For the month of October the book is a wonderful book called The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson.

Let the story theme, the cover, the layout of the cover, the color scheme (USUALLY not just one color, unless the story permits it!) inspire you to get creative!!! This is a great book to inspire you to create Halloween projects!!! Also, there are lots and lots of animals mentioned in the story, so you could create ANY kind of project with one of these animals on it!

The guest designer this month again is Susan Renshaw.

Here's a little about Susan.

Although I am originally from the UK I have been an expat for 25 years or so, living in various countries but now settling in Aus. I am a retired teacher, mother of 4 and grandmother of 4.

I have always enjoyed crafting but my current passion is mixed media. I love to use rubber stamps, stencils, my Gelli plate, inks and paints. I like to make ATCs, Cards and journal pages including junk journals. Probably my style is ‘off the wall’, grungy but I like the challenge of using an image that is not my choice, and being inspired by the books in this challenge.
